The Residences at 900 retained Kadlec to assist with design updates to their lobby and residential common corridors at 900 N Michigan. Originally a condominium conversion from office space, the building’s design maintained a corporate office aesthetic and the association desired a warmer, more residential feel. We worked with existing stone flooring  and mahogany wood paneling and reoriented the security desk and lounge area to create a more welcoming entry. A warm and textured finish palette and comfortable furnshings provide layered detail to the once austere lobby and compliments the existing building finishes. We extended these finishes to common areas and typical residential floor hallways. Updated lighting and art program completed the renovation project.
