Our fashion designer and businessman clients were building a new city home and engaged us to assist with the interior architecture and design. The task was to bring warmth and livability to a decidedly modern house without softening the edges too much. A departure for the couple, who gravitate to more classical design, the house is infused with natural materials and warm textures with high impact moments including the Molenschot ‘cloud’ light sculpture in the living room and ethereal David Wiseman plaster and porcelain plaster ceiling installation in the Master bedroom.

A noteworthy art collection also includes Ellsworth Kelly, Jaume Plensa, Damien Hirst and Allen MCollum. The overall effect is majestic, modern and surprisingly comfortable.
